Let’s get acquainted
The story behind Ideas Done Write
Ideas Done Write, LLC is a dedicated one-woman consultancy known for its solid reputation and commitment to the clients it serves. It has been in operation since 2011, providing consulting services on a contract and subcontract basis. Its services go beyond writing to capture the true aim and purpose of an endeavor – which is how the company got its name.
Ideas Done Write has served small businesses, mid-market companies and a Fortune 500 company – PR and media relations firms, health care organizations, nonprofits, advocacy groups, businesses and political campaigns.
Ideas Done Write is not a big public relations or marketing firm. And that’s not even in the long-term business plan. It’s a small, one-person operation that provides focused public relations expertise and highly personalized service at a reasonable cost. Ideas Done Write engages with contractors and clients on a project basis or on a fractional basis. Its services can help you more effectively communicate your value to your target audiences and help you get results.
My story
Anyone who knows me can tell you I don’t settle for just getting something done.
I’m the kind
of person who digs a little deeper: To find the deeper meaning, gain the deeper understanding,
connect on a deeper level to the story and the audience.

I graduated valedictorian from my small-town Colorado high school in 2000 and Magna Cum Laude from the University of Denver in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts. I then began my full-time career at the Colorado House of Representatives as a press secretary. I was promoted to communications director by 2006, and within two years became chief of staff. When the caucus I served gained majority status in 2010, I stayed on as deputy chief of staff to help manage the transition before becoming an independent communications consultant in 2011.
I believe when you care about the people you’re serving, and you care about the work and the results, it always shines through.
When I’m not digging into the work I love, I am keeping up with my two active boys and a husband who loves to travel. As a family, we spend our free time enjoying nature, or sports and recreational activities that include our boys’ swim team and the local theatre program.
